Security Films

How Does It Work?

Our security films form a barrier on the glass to prevent glass splinters from being thrown or scattered inwards when the glass breaks.

4 Criterias For Security Films

FILM THICKNESS

The higher it is, the greater the resistance of the safety film.

CERTIFICATION

It determines how strong the films remain effective and under which types of impact.
→ EN 12600, EN 356 OU ISO 16933

TENSILE STRENGTH

It determines the puncture resistance of a film against an impact, expressed here in kg/cm2.

LIGHT TRANSMISSION

It is the ability of the film to absorb/absorb a shock, like a net, in order to keep the glass in one piece.

The type and thickness of the glazing is decisive for the choice of the safety film:

• For glazing at an individual's home, school or town hall, choose Clear 4 C.

• For a store or showcase, it is better to choose the Clear 7 et 8 C range.
